Mr. Hans Müller Pedersen, MSc. Sociology, is Director General  at the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation.

Among other special appointments, he is currently a member of the European Strategic Forum for Research Infrastructure (ESFRI) and a member of the board of directors for NORDFORSK.

His previous engagements include a position as Head of the Department of Research and Innovation as well as at the Administrative Department in the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education. Furthermore, he has had a long career in the Danish Agency for Industry and Trade.

BBC journalist Quentin Cooper will act as moderator for the conference. Quentin Cooper is known for presenting 'The Material World', the UK's most popular science programme. He is an experienced and enthusiastic conference host and has run several workshops on science communication.

Main Rapporteur

Jack Stilgoe will act as the main rapporteur for the conference. He is Senior Research Fellow at Exeter Business School where he is working on a framework for responsible innovation.
